Salem Communications Portland is seeking individuals with previous outside sales skills to sell advertising time for our two national reps firms: Salem Media Representatives and Vista Media Representatives as well as to local businesses and advertising agencies. If you are a sales professional with at least 2 years outside sales experience living in or moving to the Portland metropolitan area and desire to become part of a proven sales organization that is making a real difference in the local community, then we want you to become part of our radio advertising and marketing team!
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a background in sales and/or marketing, ability to demonstrate previous success selling an intangible product, excellent prospecting skills, enjoy relationship building and be a superb problem solver. Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential, along with computer proficiency. Radio sales experience preferred.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary, with commission and bonuses as well as a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.
