Position Title: KNTS Talk Show Host

Position Summary: Talk show host – Responsible for hosting and producing a 1 hour live weekday Spanish classifieds radio show on KNTS. Work with the sales department in recruiting and securing advertisers for the show. Voice promos and commercials for the Salem Seattle radio group. Be an on-air personality for KNTS, which may include off-site personal appearances, and other duties as assigned by the Director.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Wage: $15-$20 per hour D.O.E
FSLA: This is a Part-Time, hourly position.
Benefits: Paid parking
Hours: 9:30am -11:30am. Monday-Friday. Be available for off-site remotes and appearances which may include evenings and weekends.
Requirement of Position: Preferably have at least 2 years’ experience hosting a call-in radio talk show, be familiar with current events (local, national and international), book interviews with experts regarding these events as well as interviews dealing with topics of interest to the local community. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Personality Traits: Flexible, organized, team-minded individual with good organizational skills. Able to work with little supervision. Good interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
