Come tour with the Ugandan Kids Choir!  You can visit Africa without leaving the US!

About Us:

The Ugandan Kids Choir brings a message of hope—sharing the power of God’s love through traditional Ugandan music and dance. Their mission is to minister to people across the US with the message of Jesus, while encouraging audiences to sponsor poor children around the world. As a member of the choir, you can share in this vision!

Each team in the Ugandan Kids Choir is made up of ten delightful children, and tours around the U.S for 12 months.

About You:

You have an intense desire to work with children. You have an adventurous spirit tempered with maturity. Having a love of pizza is a plus.

And, you also have the following traits:

  • A strong Christian commitment
  • Experience with children
  • A high comfort level with continuous change
  • Outgoing and enjoy being with people
  • An uncanny ability to graciously interact with all types of people and have good communication skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • An inherent ability to multitask
  • The ability to remain flexible while being detail oriented and organized.

You will have a unique opportunity to impact the lives children in developing nations! And, you have the opportunity to visit a multitude of regions across America.   Who knows… you may even learn how to speak Lugandan!

We are currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals or couples for the following exciting positions:

Tour Leader:

As a tour leader, you will be the engaging “master of ceremonies” for the choir, speaking in churches and other venues as an advocate for Childcare Worldwide’s child sponsorship program. You will be in charge of all aspects of the tour and your team as you travel across America. Using your team-building and leadership skills, you will manage the volunteer staff and the choir children.

This exciting opportunity will be immensely challenging, but may be the most rewarding job you ever have!

Tour Admin:

If you eat, drink, sleep and dream about administrative tasks, this is the job for you! In this role, you will help people at events sign up for child sponsorship, handle money, track expenses and log receipts, run errands, help set up performance booths and a myriad of other administrative tasks and assignments.

Bus Driver and Audio/Visual

If you are a tech-geek who likes to drive a whole lot; if you have a good driving record and have wanted to drive all around the US, then we have a great spot for you! In this position you will help set up our sound equipment at each performance, drive our kids all around the country, making sure the bus is in good, safe condition and many other tasks.  Best of all, a CDL license is not required!
