Relationship Manager, Sermon and Staffing Resources

Salem Church Products (SCP), a division of Salem Media Group, operates a network of e-commerce websites that equip church leaders and pastors with resources to help do the work of ministry. Our websites offer products to churches, which include professional digital resources for worship, sermon preparation, children’s ministry, and staffing solutions.

About this role:

SCP is seeking a dedicated Relationships Manager to manage and oversee relationship development and growth initiatives for our sermon resource site (SermonSearch.com) and staffing sites (ChurchStaffing.com and ChristianJobs.com). This role is pivotal in ensuring good working relationships with our strategic partners and contributors. The Relationships Manager will also drive growth by identifying and developing new relationships with key partners, as well as looking for ways to better understand and serve our users.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate close working relationships with key contributors and partners.
• Partner with the Operations Manager and stakeholders to understand business objectives and deploy strategies to achieve these goals.
• Identify and develop new relationships with communicators, church hiring organizations, influential church leaders, and networks.
• Create and maintain good systems for relationship tracking.
• Utilize market analysis to identify relationships that will enhance our overall offering.
• Ensure effective communication among cross-functional teams to align on and achieve business objectives.
• Works with the marketing team and operations manager to ideate campaigns and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably in sales or business development.
• Strong enthusiasm for relationships and working in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction both within and outside the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• A desire to take on varied responsibilities and become an expert in relationship development.
• Driven and self-motivated work ethic.

Annualized pay range is $40,000 – 50,000.
