The role of the Junior High Principal is to provide visionary, educational, and spiritual leadership to the junior high program for the purpose of achieving our Core Purpose, Core Values, and Mission in the lives of our students.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge and experience with spiritual leadership. This individual will be a servant leader who is committed to Jesus Christ, will be a spiritual leader of the school, and will assist with setting the spiritual tone with faculty, students, and with “Parents
for Cascade”
- Knowledge and experience with instructional strategies, academic standards, 21st century educational skills, STEM, and professional learning communities
- Knowledge and experience with educational leadership. This individual will establish credibility, develop visionary leadership, provide quality academics, promote innovation, and prioritize personnel development
- Knowledge and experience with operational leadership. Effectively manage the day-to-day school operations, including financial and human resources. Participate in budget-planning, forecast financial needs and student enrollment, staff recruitment, and supervision
- Knowledge and experience with student admissions, recruitment, and student progression. Work with the Marketing and Enrollment Management Department for the purpose of recruiting, admitting, and retaining junior high students. Coordinate connections between
elementary campuses and junior high school through visits, presentations, and connecting with prospective students
- Knowledge and experience with legal and regulatory applications. Work with the District Office for the purpose of staying in compliance with legal and regulatory matters
The successful candidate will have:
- Master’s degree in educational administration/supervision, or equivalent
- Three years’ experience in educational administration, preferred
- Junior high or middle school experience as a teacher and/or administrator
- Experience in Christian school administration desired, but not required
- Be a spiritually mature and growing Christian who is active in his/her Christian life
- Ability to weave Cascade Christian Schools’ guiding principles into all aspects of the junior high program
