Summary of the position:
The Audio and Lighting Production Director will supervise all aspects production including all audio and lighting for the worship/production department of Calvary and it’s Campuses. This includes, running weekly events, maintenance, and improvements to systems
and equipment for all Calvary Campuses. They will ensure excellence of both live and online services and build teams to assist in executing the weekly demands of all services.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience in church production/audio.
- Strong understanding of lighting and audio systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and creatively solve problems.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Relational and team-building skills required.
- Ability to work under high pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate audio for services, conferences, and events.
- Set and maintain an excellent standard of mix and work alongside the Worship Pastor, Music Director, and Dream Team members.
- Maintain excellent standards for production lighting.
- Oversee all elements of video production and livestream
- Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.
- Ensure creation of and provide approval for purchase paperwork for equipment purchases, repairs, rentals and installations at campuses
- Ensure radio broadcast and podcasts are sent or posted in a timely manner.
- Assist in all aspects of production including: set design, video quality, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Build and lead a audio and lighting production team.
- Planning and executing production needs for special events and special services.
- Travel to Calvary campuses to observe services/events, assist with equipment management or training, and attend meetings as needed.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist other Calvary departments with production and/or production equipment support
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends
- Work with video production director on projects and to ensure cohesion between two areas.
- Maintain a clean an organized environment in all areas of responsibility.
