The ideal candidate will be an RN able to take on a faith community nursing role as part of a team that partners with local churches to serve women and couples dealing with planned or unplanned pregnancy who need accurate information and support.
Duties include,
- Daily supervision of volunteers, Monday-Thursday, 10:00AM - 4:30PM.
- Advocate training as it pertains to client needs and daily tasks,
- Medical procedures including but not limited to pregnancy tests, OB ultrasounds, and documentation,
- Assistance in ensuring compliance with workplace and healthcare regulations and standards,
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of MS Office and social media.
- Interpersonal communication skills for supervising and training volunteers, and for interviewing and teaching clients.
- Ultrasound training can be provided.
JC Pregnancy Center is a Christ-centered, 501(c)3, pro-abundant-life ministry serving the greater Junction City / Fort Riley area of Kansas since 2016. The center provides simple pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, and in partnership with local churches also provides options consultations, ongoing pregnancy support, adoption support, post-abortion support, and medical & community referrals.
