Worship Pastor

Oasis Church has seen tremendous growth in the last 5 years, growing to an average attendance of over 800 every weekend. We have embarked on a brand new building project and have just completed our first phase, which is our new offices and chapel. We are now getting ready to start on phase two, which is a new sanctuary and lobby area that will seat 800 people. We are looking for someone that is sensitive to the Holy Spirit, but also aware of current trends in worship and worship ministry.  

Worship Styles: Bethel, Mercy Culture, Red Rocks, River Valley, Belonging Co, Mosaic, Elevation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary and pastoral leadership for the worship team.
• Plan and coordinate worship services for Sundays, Wednesday night youth services, and special events/conferences using Planning Center.
• Manage and oversee the annual budget and expenditures for the worship department. 
• Recruit, train, and equip a suitable base of volunteers.
• Ability to create and utilize tracks in worship using ableton and/or multitracks. 
• Cultivate a culture of development by empowering and mentoring coaches and leaders.
• Lead efforts to record and create albums for our community.
• Maintain and update all worship equipment/instruments as needed.
• Work with pastoral team to create amazing and Spirit-led worship environments in all services.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a skilled vocalist and musician with a strong commitment to musical excellence. This individual should view themselves as a pastor in addition to being an artist. They must be relational, passionate in their leadership, and dedicated to shepherding and developing others. Valuing teamwork and collaboration, they should lead primarily through influence rather than directive.
